Linda Aman - Aman Arts

Linda Aman’s floral watercolors have developed from her love of creation and the subtle exacting detail of each fragrant blossom. Her works portray the study of flowers over a lifetime of observation and working the elements of design.

Linda was drawn to the experience of nature at an early age, especially in flowers and plants. She felt the sense of a Creator who put so much detail, color and order in the world around her. Linda views each delicate blossom as it unfolds and curls its soft color, veins and intricate originality of petals toward the warmth of the sun. Each flower is unique and yet fully orchestrated together as an exploding expression of wholeness.

She paints to “express a lasting remembrance of God’s creation” and share with others the enjoyment of what Jesus has done in her life and through her art.

Linda loves to teach watercolor as much as she loves to paint. She sees students gain inner satisfaction of painting and creating an original of their own. Linda’s gift for teaching professionally began at the college level with adults. She also developed and taught the art program for ten years to over 300 students at a private school. She has been a member of Lake Area Artists Buffalo Grass Society and Painters Showcase. Her adult watercolor classes are taught through the College of Western Idaho, various art groups in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

The Idaho Watercolor Society, Tualatin’s Art Splash, Lake Oswego Festival of Arts, Lake Oswego Chronicles Show and Oregon Society of Artists are some of the juried venues Linda’s work has been shown. She has her work displayed in her studio, and numerous businesses in the Northwest.

Her work adorns exhibits in galleries, corporate offices and private homes.

Linda has been selected as a member of the Idaho Watercolor Society,Nampa Art Guild,Watercolor Society of Oregon, Oregon Society of Artists,Art Expression and Color Fusion. She has served as a member on the Tualatin Arts Committee. She also participates in a professional critique groups. Her work is available for viewing at her website – www.amanarts.com
